Hanging Angel with Guitar

This little hanging angel looks down at his music-making friends from above. Securely attached to a golden ribbon, it accompanies the large angel orchestra from lofty heights. The natural-coloured figure with a short pleated skirt plays on a finely crafted guitar: the curved body of the guitar, including the sound hole, is strung with six delicate strings, which were painstakingly attached by hand on millimeter-sized bridges.
