BLANK Kunsthandwerk produces traditional decorative items of Erzgebirge woodcraft. Our products are intended exclusively for decorative purposes. They are not toys and are not suitable for children under the age of 14. We manufacture products under the brands "Blank" and "Franz Karl".
Please observe the following safety information:

Decorative Use Only: Our products are designed for display and visual enjoyment only. Any other use – especially as toys – may result in damage or injury.

Incense Smokers: When using incense cones with our smoker figures, please note that incense cones can become very hot. Never leave burning incense unattended, and always place the figure on a heat-resistant, stable surface.

Candle Holders / Pyramids: Products with open flames (e.g., tealights, pyramid candles) must be used under constant supervision. Keep burning candles away from flammable materials and ensure that all items are operated on a safe, level, and fire-resistant surface.

Electrical Products: Our electrically powered items (e.g., light arches, Schwibbogen with power supply) are intended for indoor decorative use only. Use only the supplied power adapters. Any modification or improper use may pose a safety hazard.

Care Instructions: Our products are primarily made of wood, a natural material. Wood may exhibit natural surface textures, colour variations, or small irregularities – these are not defects, but rather signs of craftsmanship and the uniqueness of each piece. Protect our products from moisture, direct sunlight, extreme temperature fluctuations, and mechanical stress. To clean, use a soft, dry cloth only – do not use harsh cleaning agents. Do not wrap in kitchen towels or other absorbent materials.
