Angel with Long Pleated Robe and Trumpet Marine, coloured

The coloured angel with long pleated robe and tromba marina features a rare historical string instrument that is scarcely known today. Traditionally used as a solo instrument and seldom found in orchestras, the tromba marina gains special charm in its detailed miniature form. The instrument consists of a light, elongated triangular body with a single string and a reddish-brown wooden neck. Its sound hole is adorned with a delicate etched brass plate featuring a fine diamond pattern, giving it a refined, handcrafted appearance. In the angel’s right hand rests a tiny tensioned bow measuring only about 2 cm. Each figure is handcrafted and hand-painted with great care in Grünhainichen and proudly bears the quality label Echt Erzgebirge. Holzkunst mit Herz.
