Lantern Child

This little lantern child carries their round lantern on a slender stick. The figure evokes memories of lantern parades and autumn evenings when children walk through the streets with their lanterns.

The figure is crafted in our workshops in Grünhainichen from turned wooden pieces, which are carefully assembled and hand-painted. The natural wood colour of the skirt and the understated design give the lantern child its simple, timeless appeal.
