The natural-coloured short-skirted angel with tromba marina presents a rare historical string instrument that is seldom heard today. Traditionally a solo instrument and hardly ever found in classical orchestras, the tromba marina becomes especially charming in miniature form. The angel holds a finely crafted piece: a light, elongated triangular body with a single string and a reddish-brown wooden neck. The sound hole is covered by a delicate etched plate with a diamond pattern in a pale brass tone, giving the instrument a refined appearance. In his right hand, the angel carries a tiny tensioned bow, measuring only around 2 cm.
