The coloured Short Skirt Angel with Timpani is one of the well-known designs in our musicians’ collection and has not been produced since 2007. For the 2026 reissue, the instrument has been beautifully refined: the bright red body features a golden rim, gold side struts and a softly yellow membrane, matching the coloured tip of the beater. These tones blend harmoniously with the classic Christmas palette of our orchestra angels. Standing at approximately 7 cm, the angel wears a white dress with golden accents at the hem and neckline as well as golden shoes. The sky-blue upward-curved wings, the golden star diadem and the neatly shaped dark-brown hair are characteristic features of the coloured Short Skirt Angels. His friendly, cheerful face is painted by hand with great care. All decorative elements are meticulously hand-painted by skilled artisans. Our angels proudly carry the quality label Echt Erzgebirge.
